1. Information We Collect

We collect the minimum data necessary to provide and improve the game experience.

Account information — when you sign in with Google or Apple:

• Display name
• Email address (used only to identify your account)
• Profile photo (optional, provided by your sign-in provider)

Game data — generated as you play:

• Score, ELO rating, and leaderboard ranking
• Campaign progress, medals, and level completions
• SnakeCoins balance, owned skins, and active bonuses

Technical data — collected automatically:

• App version and device platform (iOS / Android)
• Crash reports and error logs (anonymous)

2. How We Use Your Data

• Authenticate and identify your account across devices
• Save and sync your game progress to the cloud
• Display your name and rank on the global leaderboard
• Enable real-time multiplayer matchmaking
• Diagnose crashes and fix bugs
• Send important service notifications (e.g. major updates)

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond running the game.

3. Third-Party Services

Crypto Snake uses the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

Google Firebase (Firebase Auth, Cloud Firestore)

• Handles authentication and cloud data storage

Google Sign-In

• Allows you to log in with your Google account

Sign in with Apple

• Allows you to log in with your Apple ID

4. Data Retention

Your account and game data are retained as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, all associated data is permanently removed from our servers within 7 days.

Crash logs and anonymous analytics are automatically purged after 90 days.

5. Children's Privacy

Crypto Snake is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

6. Data Security

All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS / TLS). Account credentials are managed entirely by Google Firebase Authentication — we never store your password. Sensitive local data (such as session tokens) is stored using platform-level secure storage.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and all associated data
• Withdraw consent at any time by deleting the app

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
